New Year is the favorite holiday of most citizens, but endless fireworks, monotonous programs on TV and drunk people can disturb their peace. Economically active citizens from Crimea took part in an open survey of the SuperJob service.
Most of all on New Year’s Eve, Crimeans are irritated by fireworks, firecrackers and the noise from them, which does not stop until the morning (20%). 9% complain that on the night of January 1, the same thing is shown on TV. The same number of people experience discomfort from a large number of drunk people. 8% of respondents do not like the fact that a large feast leads to overeating. 6% suffer from lack of sleep. Another 3% are sad that New Year’s Eve is quickly passing. 2% don’t like being alone on New Year’s Day, 1 in 100 don’t understand the general obsession with New Year’s celebrations. Other irritating factors that spoil the mood on New Year’s Eve: taxi prices, phone calls, high expenses, uninvited guests, washing dishes, bad weather, bad mood, failed salad, talking about work at the table, fuss and relatives,” noted the service’s press service.
28% of Crimean residents are not irritated by anything on New Year’s Eve.
Women on New Year’s Eve do not like the abundance of food and the noise from fireworks. Men, on the other hand, are more often irritated by TV programs and drunk people.
