When seconds count. In Crimea, rescuers showed how to work at the scene of an accident
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea hosted competitions to eliminate the consequences of road accidents. Teams from all fire and rescue teams (FRS) were given the task: to extinguish a car that had caught fire, carefully remove injured people from the car and provide first aid to the victims, apply splints, not forgetting to communicate and ask questions about their well-being.
Employees performed tasks as quickly and professionally as possible under given conditions. A vigilant jury evaluated each action at all stages and the speed of execution, because in the event of a real accident, every second is important for the health and life of people— reported the emergency department.
Based on the results, the prizes were distributed as follows:
- 1st place – 1 PSO (Simferopol),
- 2nd place – 6 PSO (Dzhankoy),
- 3rd place – 3 PSO (Kerch).
The winning team will represent the Republic of Crimea at competitions in the Southern Federal District, which will take place in early April in the city of Azov, Rostov region.
