When will the improvement of the square near the Sevastopol cultural complex «Korabel» be completed?

Until December, it is planned to complete the improvement of the square near the cultural complex «Korabel». This was told by the director of the Department of urban economy of Sevastopol Evgeny Gorlov. Recall that the improvement of the square is carried out within the framework of an agreement between the Government of Sevastopol and the Government of Moscow.

The work was started in August, to date, about 40% has already been completed. Paving is being carried out, pavement for playgrounds has been prepared. There will also be a skate area, shady areas, and structures in the form of anchors. The area along the road will also be landscaped. The fountain will be restored, the equipment is already in the city. Until December, we plan to open this square , — said Evgeny Gorlov.

He noted that in order to complete the comprehensive improvement of the territory, work is being carried out in parallel with business entities — they will put in order the transformer substation located on the territory of the square, as well as the plant’s entrance.

In addition, on behalf of the governor, the area where the stage used to be will be landscaped second. We will first discuss improvement options with residents and representatives of the Korabel cultural complex , Gorlov emphasized.

In the park, located near the Sevastopol cultural complex «Korabel», it is planned to organize quiet recreation areas, pedestrian transit, sports and children’s play areas. A light-dynamic dry fountain will appear in place of the old one. There will also be places for recreation on the square. In addition, outdoor lighting is provided in the park, including landscape, video surveillance, additional landscaping, and an automatic irrigation system. It is planned to install benches and urns in all zones. There will also be a parking area.
