The velvet season at sea is not only comfortable temperatures, lack of crowds and a tan without a crust, it is also an opportunity to save money. The cheapest way to spend a vacation in the Crimea, assured the «Parliamentary newspaper» vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Sergei Romashkin.
This year, the demand for Crimea has decreased, so all summer prices here are 10-15 percent lower than last year. And given the end of the season, they will fall even more. Our tourists choose mainly either Yalta or the eastern Crimea: Feodosia, Sudak, Novy Svet. You can relax here for 25 thousand rubles a week per personthe expert noted.
The Krasnodar Territory is somewhat more expensive, but quite affordable. You can go, for example, to Anapa, advised Romashkin. He recalled that the airport is still closed here. You can get there by train or your own transport.
If you go by car, a week of rest in a four-star hotel will cost 30-32 thousand rubles, if by train — you need to add 15 thousand. This is just the price for rail transportation in a round-trip compartmentthe expert calculated.
In the Baltic — in the Kaliningrad region — the season has already ended. The sea cools down quickly, and it will be impossible to swim in a couple of weeks. The flow of beach tourists is falling.
But many people go to Kaliningrad not to swim, but to admire the architecture and learn about history. The excursion programs also include beach towns — Svetlogorsk, Zelenogradsk. These tours remain as popular as they were during the summer. Their prices are not reduced. But it should be noted that in hotels in Kaliningrad they are much lower than in hotels on the coast. If a beach tourist paid 6-7 thousand rubles per day in the same Zelenogradsk in the summer, then in Kaliningrad he will pay 3-3.5 thousand rubles for a double room— said Romashkin.
Türkiye is getting cheaper, Thailand is getting more expensive
The most accessible of the foreign resorts is Abkhazia. And in the autumn the price will be even lower. The expert recalled that Abkhazia differs from the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory in that there is a longer season, it is always a couple of degrees warmer than in Sochi, and the sea cools more slowly.
You can relax here for a week for 30-35 thousand rubles. And it will be quite a comfortable stay. The price will reach a minimum somewhere on September 15th. Holidays will cost 25 percent less than in August— assured the vice-president of ATOR.
Prices for Turkey, which is popular in Russia, are also falling. In September it will be 10-20 percent cheaper than in the high season. At the same time, the weather is still beautiful even in October, and the sea is warm. And all these charms will cost 70-80 thousand per week.
Egypt is even more accessible. It is cheaper than Turkey by about 15 percent. Here you can keep within 65-75 thousand per week. But this is not due to seasonal price reductions. “It is a little behind other countries that opened to tourists earlier. As tourists return to the resorts of Egypt, the cost of holidays will rise.the expert explained.
Popular with Russian tourists, the UAE and Thailand will not become cheaper in the fall, Romashkin warned. He explained that in the UAE, the high season is yet to come. A vacation there in early autumn costs 90-95 thousand rubles per week. But the main events will unfold in October, November, December — tourists from all over the world will rush there, and prices will rise.
And Thailand is just starting to recover. The start was at low prices, but then they will be higher. In September, a holiday in Thailand costs 95-100 thousand.

If you want to relax, but there is not enough money for the sea, you can go for impressions. The expert said that in our country there is now a boom in tours to neighboring regions:
A person gets behind the wheel and drives, for example, to Tula, Tver or Ryazan. Some people don’t book hotels. They arrive in the morning, walk around the city, get acquainted with the sights, dine at a restaurant and go home. Guides are taken directly on the spot. A family day trip will cost much less than a vacation in the same Abkhazia or Egypt, and sometimes even no less pleasure. If September pleases with good weather, such mini-journeys will bring great joy.
