Where will Russians go on vacation with their children? Simferopol in the top ten preferences

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don are the most popular destinations where Russians with children will go for the upcoming holidays. This was reported by the Tutu travel service, which analyzed sales of air and train tickets for the period October 26 — November 4, 2024.

When traveling with children, Russians prefer to travel by train. In second place in popularity is the plane, in third is buses. The top destinations by train included Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Adler. The share of passengers with children to the capital is 17.8%, to St. Petersburg — 9%, to Rostov-on-Don — 4.9%, to Krasnodar — 4.3%, to Adler — 2.6%. Children will also travel to Simferopol, Kazan, Voronezh, Sochi and Yekaterinburg,” noted the service’s press service.

According to Tutu analysts, travelers are increasingly looking at train reviews and ratings before deciding to buy a ticket, as well as booking a ticket in advance and paying for it later.

Children will also fly by plane to two capitals, Sochi, Kaliningrad and Mineralnye Vody. 13.9% of air tickets were purchased to Moscow, 10.1% to Sochi, 8.7% to St. Petersburg, 5.3% to Kaliningrad, 4.2% to Mineralnye Vody. Next in popularity are Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Irkutsk. Tutu added that travelers began to use the booking service more often — it allows you to fix the price of an air ticket.

Among the popular destinations where children will travel by bus are Moscow, Kirov, Kislovodsk, Saransk and Anapa. And the most hotels for the upcoming holidays are booked in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sirius, Sochi and Kazan.
