Avito Works experts studied the dynamics of average salary offers in the country and identified a rating of blue-collar professions for which employers offer an average salary of over 100,000 rubles. In the first quarter of 2024, the highest paid profession was a truck driver with an average offered salary of 170,494 rubles.
As previously, in the Avito Works study for the winter of 2023-2024, the truck driver profession took first place among the highest paid in the country. During the quarter, average salary offers for new employees increased by 9%. Salary offers for the position of milling operator increased by 27% over the quarter and amounted to 136,151 rubles per month in the first quarter of this year.
The top three highest paid vacancies are closed by the profession of a driller with an average offered salary of 113,457 rubles per month. During the quarter, salary offers for new specialists increased by 11%.
We see that the top three highest paying jobs are unchanged from the winter 2023-2024 study. Truck drivers, milling operators and drillers continue to be offered competitive salaries, which indicates a shortage of these personnel in the modern labor market. Thus, employers’ demand for truck drivers increased one and a half times over the quarter and 2 times over the last year, for milling operators — by 28% over the quarter and 2.3 times over the year. In the context of competition for candidates, employers should consider expanding the horizons of their search for personnel — for example, developing an on-the-job training program for specialists without experience. To retain staff, it is also necessary to increase employee satisfaction by increasing salary offers, developing corporate culture and improving working conditions, — comments the director of the category “Workers and line professions” of Avito Works Alexander Sampetov.
For the first quarter of 2024, the list of job vacancies with salary offers over 100,000 rubles per month included vacancies for a dump truck driver with an average offered salary of 102,895 rubles per month, auto electrician — from 101,712 rubles per month, tile worker — from 108,423 rubles per month and monolithic — from 100,000 rubles per month. During the quarter, salary offers for sorters almost doubled — by 92% (RUB 100,971).

The list of vacancies with salary offers from 90 to 100 thousand rubles per month in the first quarter of 2024 included vacancies for a finisher (96,361 rubles per month), a barber (94,614 rubles per month), a bricklayer (92,450 rubles per month) and an auto mechanic (91,576 rubles per month).
