Why would you be punished… Russian drivers are warned about unexpected fines

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Russian drivers, experts say «Autocode», may be fined for carrying a first aid kit or transporting an animal on your lap. Lawyer Kirill Danilov spoke about these and other unobvious fines.

According to him, one of the frequent violations is a first aid kit, the contents of which do not comply with the order of the Russian Ministry of Health. According to the document, the first aid kit should contain dressings, gloves, and a medical mask. If any medical products are missing, damaged, or expired, the driver may be fined 500 rubles.

You can also get a fine for going out onto the side of the road or roadway in the dark or in poor visibility conditions without a reflective vest. For such a violation, a fine of 800 to 1,000 rubles is provided.

You can also be held accountable for wearing a seat belt incorrectly. As the expert noted, in this case the risk of injury becomes much higher, so you will have to pay 1,000 rubles for the offense.

Motorists are required to follow the rules when transporting animals in a car. Pets must be properly placed and restrained. The driver is obliged to monitor the condition and behavior of the animal so that it does not interfere with movement or limit visibility. It is prohibited to transport animals on the lap or on the front panel of the car; the animal must not be allowed to move around the cabin. Violation of these requirements will result in a fine of 500 rubles.

Responsibility for the behavior of not only animals, but also passengers in the car rests with the driver. Passengers are prohibited from sticking their arms or legs out the window, as this may lead to an accident. For failure to comply with the rule, the driver will be fined, not the passenger. For an adult you will have to pay a fine of 1,000 rubles, for a minor – 3,000 rubles. If passengers lean out of the car hatch, the car owner will be given an additional fine for an unbelted passenger.
