In Crimea, the winners of regional competitions held as part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor were awarded. Participants of the regional stages of the All-Russian competitions «Teacher of the Year of Russia», Health Teacher of Russia”, “Educator-Psychologist of Russia”, “Teacher-Defectologist of Russia”, “Best Teacher of Native Language and Native Literature”, regional competition “Teacher of the Year in State Institutions”.

I congratulate you on your well-deserved victory at the regional stages of the All-Russian competitions and wish you to adequately represent the Republic of Crimea at the federal stages! Declared by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, 2023 as the Year of the Teacher and Mentor is a recognition of the well-deserved work of pedagogical workers, including those performing mentoring activities. Today, the education industry is represented by 17 thousand teachers, of which almost 1.5 thousand are young professionals. It is gratifying that a large number of young specialists participated in the regional stages of the competitions, among which there are many winners— Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya addressed the teachers.

In the Republic of Crimea, in order to attract specialists to the field of education, a network of profile classes of a psychological and pedagogical orientation is systematically developing. Now there are 58 of them, in which 985 students are studying, who plan to connect their lives with pedagogy. In the 2021-2022 academic year, there were 25 classes with 235 students.

According to Elena Romanovskaya, more than 1 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the national Education project in Crimea in 2023. 50 Point of Growth centers, an IT-cube digital education center and a Quantorium technopark in Simferopol will be created. It is planned to update the material and technical base in 2 boarding schools, equipping 41 educational organizations with computer equipment, repairing a sports hall, equipping 10 sports grounds, and creating 5,863 new places for additional education for children. It is planned to overhaul and equip 11 schools as part of the School Systems Modernization Program.
