Within the framework of the national project «Infrastructure for Life» in Sevastopol, 7 regional projects will be implemented

Governor Mikhail Podvozhaev took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council, conducted by President Vladimir Putin. It was devoted to the development of infrastructure for life. Recall, the national project “Infrastructure for Life” started in 2025. The president focused on what to do:

It should be noted that the new national project in Sevastopol was a continuation of previously operating projects — in particular, “safe high -quality roads” and “housing and urban environment”. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin emphasized that according to the results of last year, Sevastopol rose to 15 points in the ranking of cities with a favorable environment, gaining 218 points. Behind this figure is the repair and construction of roads, the improvement of public spaces, which was carried out thanks to federal support.

The infrastructure for life generally combines key areas for the comfortable life of people in our cities and in general in our country. Therefore, the topic is always very complicated: there are roads, improvement, and communal infrastructure, which of course requires huge financial costs, the cost of housing and the question of how to make housing become more affordable. I thank all the lawn colleagues who were responsible for the preparation of this state council in the relevant relevant commissions, did a lot of work, prepared quality proposals— said Mikhail Razvozhaev. — Over the 6 years of implementation of the national project “Safe quality roads” — from 2019 to 2024 — we brought to the normative state of 700 roads with a total length of more than 440 kilometers. Thanks to the national project «Housing and the Urban Environment» were landscaped 40 parks and squares. Starting this year, within the framework of the national project «Infrastructure for Life» in Sevastopol, seven regional projects will be implemented. There is a reconstruction of communal networks, the improvement of public spaces, the update of the road infrastructure, including the introduction of an intellectual transport system, which provides for the automation of the processes of traffic control, and much more.
