CrimeaPRESS reports:
In the Republic of Crimea, the total amount of funds allocated for the implementation of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» for 2024 is more than 6 billion rubles. 109 contracts have been concluded for 53 objects, construction and installation works are carried out at all objects, including 28 sections of roads with a length of more than 200 km and 25 bridges and bridge structures with a length of 1092.76 linear meters. The customer for all objects is the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Automobile Road Service of the Republic of Crimea».
According to the results of the first half of 2024, construction work is already nearing completion at some sites. Thus, a high percentage of readiness is on the sections of the Kazanki-Pochtovoe, Opushki-Solovyevka, Simferopol-Yevpatoriya-Shafrannoe roads, as well as 5 sections of the Simferopol-Krasnoperekopsk-border with the Kherson region regional public road. In total, within the framework of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», 8 sections of this road with a total length of 63 km will be repaired this year.
We would like to add that within the framework of the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads”, three regional projects are being implemented in the Republic of Crimea: “Regional and Local Road Network”, “General System Measures for the Development of Road Facilities”, and “Road Safety”.
Today, the length of the backbone network of the Republic of Crimea is 1095.420 km, including 18 sections of regional roads with a total length of over 827.169 km — 63.12% of the standard.
The main objective of the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads» is to improve the quality of life of our citizens. The direct implementation of the national project — repair of roads and bridges — has increased the availability of basic social and other services for rural residents, increased their income in settlements where roads were repaired or built, and even created new jobs. Many residents of the republic’s outback have changed their lifestyle, and new prospects have appeared— the press service of the Minister of Transport Nikolai Lukashenko quotes.
Over the entire period of implementation of the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads” since 2019, about 1,100 km of regional roads have been repaired in the Republic of Crimea (which is 13% of the entire road network).
Since the start of the project, the share of regional roads in good condition has more than doubled.
