On the eve of International Women’s Day, a solemn event was held in the Crimean parliament. Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov awarded Crimean women who make a worthy contribution to the development of our Republic.
March 8 is a traditional holiday for us, just like February 23, it has become part of our history. Now, during the period of confrontation between Russia and the West, the struggle for traditions, culture, and the history of our civilization is decisive for us. Their pseudo-values are alien to us; they are destructive for the Russian world.
In the West, the family is already being persecuted; the degradation of this institution is proceeding at a colossal pace. We continue to defend our values and, I am convinced, we will be able to preserve ourselves, our identity, culture, and history. We will continue to treat our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters with respect. In turn, women always, even in the most difficult moments, remain close to us men. Women’s care was manifested in the most difficult periods for our Fatherland, our Defenders feel it now, during the Northern Military Districtsaid the head of the Crimean parliament.
Vladimir Konstantinov emphasized: women who participated in the Special Operation, those whose sons fight the enemy at the front, and those who lost their relatives on the battlefield deserve special respect. Republican authorities will continue to provide them with all the necessary support.
