Work continues on the construction of a large water treatment plant “Krasnoperekopsky WWTP” within the framework of the regional project “Clean Water”, which is part of the Russian national project “Housing and Urban Environment”
The contractor’s specialists have completed the main preparatory and excavation work, work is underway on laying the foundations of buildings and structures, reinforcing the foundation slab of the tank, and ordered technological equipment.
Currently, trenches are being laid for pipelines and switching chambers, metal structures and formwork for a water treatment station are being installed, formwork for clean and source water tank structures is being installed, and a deep-water outlet pipeline is being laid— reported the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Crimea.
The planned completion date for the construction of the facility and commissioning is until the end of 2024. The design capacity of the water treatment plant is 15 thousand cubic meters per day.
The result of the implementation of this facility will be to improve the quality of supplied water for Krasnoperekopsk and the Krasnoperekopsk region.
