Work continues to improve the quality of mobile communications in Crimea

The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that work continues to improve the quality of mobile communications in Crimea. He clarified that for this purpose, 240 base stations for mobile radiotelephone communications were built and another 314 communication facilities were upgraded to the modern level of LTE (4G) technology.
In addition, the construction of base stations is underway at major infrastructure facilities, including on the Tavrida highway and the Simferopol — Dzhankoy — Crimean Bridge railway.
The Republic of Crimea is a resort region, so we need to provide our guests with high-quality mobile communications,” Aksyonov emphasized.
According to him, issues related to this area are resolved jointly with the federal center.
