Work More: 152 Sevastopol Residents Retired Early Due to Long Serving Period
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Residents of Sevastopol with long-term work experience have the right to early retirement two years earlier than the generally established age, but not earlier than reaching the age of 55 for women and 60 for men. To do this, women must have worked for at least 37 years, men — at least 42 years, and also have at least 28.2 individual pension coefficients in 2024.
The Sevastopol branch of the SFR has assigned pensions for long service before the generally established retirement age to 152 city residents.
The length of service that gives the right to such a pension includes only periods of official work in the territory of the Russian Federation, subject to the payment of insurance contributions, periods of receiving temporary disability benefits and military service by conscription. Participation in a special military operation during military service or in a volunteer formation is taken into account at double the rate (3.6 pension coefficients per calendar year).
Non-insurance periods such as caring for children under 1.5 years of age, caring for disabled citizens, receiving unemployment benefits do not give the right to early appointment of a pension, but are included in the insurance period when assigning an insurance pension on a general basis., — the press service quotes Elena Gaivoronskaya, Head of the Sevastopol Branch of the SFR.
You can check your work experience and the number of pension points earned in your personal account on the public services portal in the section «Popular services» — «Statement from the personal account in the SFR». You can apply for a pension no earlier than a month before the right to it arises.
