Work on the eighth stage of the Tavrida highway — the Sevastopol section — will be completed ahead of schedule

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Pavel Ieno, director of the profile department, spoke live about the work on the eighth stage of the Tavrida highway, the overhaul of Gorpischenko Street and the repair of boats. The broadcast took place in the Sevastopol Government group on the VKontakte social network. According to the specialist, the construction of the eighth stage of the Tavrida is proceeding at a faster pace. As the director of the Department of Transport and Road Transport Infrastructure noted, the launch of the Yalta Ring is planned in three stages: the first one has already been opened — this is the descent and ascent to Sapun Mountain, the second is expected to be launched in October — this is an exit from Yalta towards Simferopol, and already in 2023 year the interchange will be completely ready.

According to the contract, the work on the eighth stage of Taurida should be completed at the end of November, but now we see that the VAD company is ahead of schedule by about six months. For the Department of Transport, the task is to launch the traffic on the eighth stage in full in May 2023 of the year , — emphasizes the head of the department.

The region also continues to implement the national project «Safe Quality Roads». The total amount of financing is about 1.6 billion rubles. In total, in 2022 year, 75 objects will be brought to the normative state, including roads, bridges and overpasses.

Funding this year is almost twice as much compared to the same period last year. The disbursement of funds to date is about 80%. Due to the fact that the work is being carried out at a high pace, the Government of the Russian Federation decided to allocate additional funding in the amount of 450 million rubles , Pavel Ieno notes.

The funds were used to repair the Fiolentovsky and Monastyrskoye highways with a total length of 23 km. The works on the objects have already been completed, markings have been applied. In addition, additional funding has been allocated for the installation of 36 stop pavilions — they are being purchased.

Also in the program of the national project for this year is the overhaul of Gorpischenko Street. The main part of the work is planned to be completed by the end of September, and in October — to install traffic lights and landscaping.

During the live broadcast, Pavel Ieno emphasized that this year a contract was signed for the design of the Heroes of Sevastopol Street — mathematical modeling was ordered to see where the road could be widened.

The head of the relevant department also commented on the situation with the construction of five boats for Sevastopol — earlier at the Government meeting it was announced that foreign manufacturers refused to supply equipment for the work.

Everyone knows that our boats have a fairly long service life — some boats are already more than 40 years old. It was decided to build five new boats. Unfortunately, there are certain problems associated with foreign components. We reconfigured and started repairing five boats and the Admiral Lazarev ferry. We expect in September that the ferry together with the boats will already be raised in the DOK and the ship repairmen will begin repairs. According to the concluded state contract, the work must be completed before the end of the year. These works will be accepted by the river register, the boats will be safe, they can be operated for the next five years on the internal routes of the city of Sevastopol , Pavel Ieno said.

Recall that live broadcasts in the group of the Government of Sevastopol in the social network «VKontakte» are held on a regular basis. On the eve of the next broadcast, everyone can leave their questions, wishes and suggestions under the announcement post.
