Worker from Kirovsky district of Crimea to stand trial for child molestation on playground

According to the Investigative Committee, the investigation of a criminal case against a 45-year-old worker at one of the enterprises of the Kirov district of Crimea, accused of a crime of a sexual nature against minors (clause «b» of part 5 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) has been completed.
The Kirov Interdistrict Investigative Department established that in June 2023, on a playground in the courtyard of apartment buildings on Oktyabrskaya Street, a local resident committed sexual acts against five children aged 9 to 12 years old who were playing there. One of the girls reported the incident by phone to her parents, who immediately passed on the alarming information to law enforcement agencies.– the Investigative Committee reported.
Investigators, in cooperation with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea, quickly identified and detained the suspect.
Sufficient evidence has been collected, and the necessary forensic examinations have been conducted. Rehabilitation measures have been taken with respect to all minors. The investigation of the criminal case has now been completed. The materials have been sent to the prosecutor’s office for study, approval of the indictment, and referral of the case to court.
