In the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan, competitions are held in three types of wrestling (Greco-Roman, freestyle and women’s) as part of the 1st All-Russian Summer Sports Contest.

Master of sports of international class Emin Sefershaev from Simferopol became the silver medalist of the Spartakiad in the weight category up to 60 kg. In qualifying, the pupil of Sergei Popenkov defeated Sadyk Lalaev from the Moscow region (5:3), in the quarterfinals — Muscovite Anzor Karagulov (4:0), in the semifinals already in the first period he dealt with the world champion — 97, two-time European champion (97, 2021), bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympics-2020 Sergey Emelin from Mordovia ( 8:0), but in the final, unfortunately, he lost to Anvar Allahyarov from the Moscow region (1:5) , — reports «Crimean Sport».
Master of Sports Mavlud Rizmanov from Sevastopol took bronze in weight up to kg. In the same category, Marat Darbinyan, a candidate for master of sports from Simferopol, took the th place.
Master of Sports Alexander Paivin from the Crimean capital stopped a step away from the podium in weight up to 77 kg — he took fifth place, losing in the fight for bronze to international class master of sports Sergey Stepanov from Novosibirsk region (0:4).
Pupil of KSP UOR, master of sports Azamat Seitov (represents Crimea and Sevastopol) — also fifth (in the category up to 97 kg). In the bronze bout, Azamat lost to Ilya Ermolenko, master of sports of international class, only in additional indicators (score — 1: 1).
In total, 149 the strongest wrestlers-classics of Russia took part in the competition. Traditionally, ten sets of awards were played.
