Wuchang-Su Waterfall is open to the public again

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As of yesterday, the southern coastal (and highest in Crimea) waterfall Uchan-Su is open to the public again. For several days the path to the attraction was closed due to collapse.

As reported Crimea travel portal Travel Crimea in the press service of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Reserved Crimea», the photogenic Crimean location — the Uchan-Su waterfall — is again welcoming visitors. The Yalta emergency rescue team «Crimea-Spas» has completed work to eliminate the consequences of a rock collapse at the entrance to the highest waterfall on the peninsula.

Using special equipment, the block was moved down the slope, a little further from the place where it had slid. The slope was examined by the staff of the reserve and Crimea-Spas; no landslides are expected in the near future. However, at the beginning of the next season, research and strengthening work will be carried out in potentially dangerous areas of the reserve– said the press service.

Let us remind you that the rock collapse at the tourist site occurred on December 10 due to many days of heavy rainfall. The opening hours of the cash desk at the site are from 9:00 to 18:00. Coordinates: 44.49256, 34.092934.
