Yachtsmen from Sevastopol and Yalta win 17 medals at the Southern Federal District Championship and Junior Championship in Taganrog

As reported by Center for sports training of national teams of Sevastopola representative of the hero city, Andrey Taranenko, became the champion of the Southern Federal District in the Laser Standard class, and his fellow countryman Georgy Emeretli won a silver medal in the Finn class.

Sevastopol residents have won 14 medals in the youth championship of the Southern Federal District.

In «Laser-radical» there were no equals to Evgeny Ershov and Anastasia Protsenko, in «Laser 4.7» — to Elizaveta Chekhlataya and Egor Vaschenko, in «Zoom 8» — to Elizaveta Tubaeva. In «Optimist» Maria Ovsyannikova became a silver medalist, and Artemy Dolenko — «bronze», in «420» — «silver» was taken by Artem Cherpita and Timofey Fedyaev.

Sevastopol residents also distinguished themselves in the Techno sailboard competitions. Aleksandr Bogachev won the under-17 race. Silver medalists were Sofia Shushulkova (under-17 girls, she also represents Crimea in the parallel event) and Dmitry Bolshenko (under-15 boys). The bronze step of the podium was taken by Timur Mitsik (under-17 boys) and Polina Malaya (under-15 girls). We should also note the bronze of Yevpatoriya resident Ilya Sokolov (under-15 boys).
