Yalta again became the best sports city of Crimea

Summing up 2022 of the year took place at the solemn event «Constellation of Champions». The event was attended by leading athletes of the Republic, who created the conditions for world recognition and strengthening of the sports image of Russia.
Sport helps to form the best features character: perseverance, determination, a sense of shoulder. Sports have never been superfluous for anyone. It seems to me that the achievements of Crimean athletes are respected and recognized by everyone. We are not looking at the international level now — you see the attitude towards our country: they are trying to create the most uncomfortable conditions, limiting our athletes. Therefore, today I want to thank the teachers, the coaching staff and our athletes themselves , — says the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, opening the event.
Yalta is the best sports city in the Republic of Crimea. Proud! I thank the Ministry of Sports for such a high assessment and, of course, the sports community of the city, thanks to which our Cup is our second year in a row In Yalta, there are 150 sports facilities, including playgrounds, shooting ranges, simulators, football fields. We plan to open three more this year , — emphasizes the head of the administration of Yalta, Yanina Pavlenko.
Vera Markaryan (Rebrik), Victoria Soboleva, Anastasia Dorokhova, Violetta Mamai (all track and field athletics) from Yalta became the best athletes of the Republic in Olympic sports, Alevtina Kravchenko and Anastasia Chernyavskaya (sumo) in non-Olympic sports. Yaroslav Litvinov, Victoria Sukhova and Vladimir Rybalchenko were recognized as the best coaches, respectively. Also noted was the pupil of the Youth Children’s and Youth Sports Center, judoist Artur Gerasimov.
The best sports school is rightfully recognized as the “Short School for Athletics No. 1” under the leadership of Natalia Vyacheslavovna Belukha. And our Vera Markaryan (Rebrik) was awarded the title of «Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Crimea».
Congratulations! I am proud of the success of every Yalta athlete! I am immensely grateful to the coaches for their wisdom and patience!
