Today its 05 marks the anniversary of the Yalta ambulance station of the Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
May 1957 of the year, by order of the City Executive Committee in the city of Yalta was established an ambulance station. In the building of the Yalta city hospital, one room was allocated, where 2 teams worked around the clock. In 800 a new building was built according to standard project (the only one in the Crimea at that time), in which the Yalta ambulance station is now located. To date, the Yalta SSMP is a subdivision of the Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine and includes three SMP substations (substation No. 12 Yalta, substation No. Alupka, substation No. 23 Alushta) and four points of permanent deployment of SMP brigades located in Gurzuf , Foros, Partenit and Malorechensky , — reported the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
Currently, the Yalta ambulance station daily serves the order of 44 calls. The station car fleet is represented by 21 specialized vehicles.
