Yalta is hosting the 1st Health Festival of the FMBA of Russia, which started in our country in June last year. The event is held within the framework of the national projects «Healthcare» and «Demography» in the anniversary year of the FMBA and is aimed at raising awareness and involvement of the population in preventive age-specific examination programs. Yalta took over from the Ural Federal District.
To be healthy, you need to take care of yourself — do not forget about motor activity, eat right, give up bad habits, regularly undergo planned medical examinations. We pay great attention to sanitary and preventive work, and within the framework of the Festival we promote disease prevention, early diagnosis, and a healthy lifestyle.— says Olga Eremina, head of the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia in Crimea.
Since the start of the Festival, a number of events have already taken place — “Walking with Doctors”, Health Schools and medical examinations for the elderly, excursions for medical students to the Livadia Hospital with a flash mob “The Future Begins Today”, and doctors of the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia in Crimea climbed Ayu-Dag.
There are many more interesting events ahead. Thus, during the Festival, Yalta residents will be able to take part in the Walks with Doctors, which will be held in Alupka and Simeiz. Children and schoolchildren actively send their works to the children’s drawing competition «Doctor Saves Life». In Vasilievka and the village of Sovetskoye, an outreach action «Healthy Heart» will take place. A chess tournament is planned for fans of intellectual games.
The doctors of the branch will show by their own example that sports and health always go together — they will pass the TRP standards and play football with the Yalta administration team.
Schools in Yalta will host the action «Learning Together». Doctors in a playful way will tell you how to combine elements of gymnastics with daily activities — you can train your body while washing, dressing, eating and walking. Children, their parents and teachers will be shown important exercises to strengthen their eyesight, and the doctor will conduct practical exercises with them.
Well, the most massive event is scheduled for Saturday, May 20. On this day, from 11.00 to 18.00, on the Yalta embankment and Sovetskaya Square, master classes and Health Schools will work in various areas — the prevention of diabetes, stroke, gastroenterological and neurological diseases, first aid.
Medical wards will be installed in various areas of «Healthy Heart», «Oncopatrol», «Prevention of Diabetes», «Healthy Lungs», «Medicine of the Future», «Early Detection of Breast Cancer». Everyone will be able to measure blood pressure, make a cardiogram, check the level of sugar in the blood, get medical advice. At the monument to Lenin, visitors will be welcomed by a mobile fluorograph and a mammograph, and everyone will be able to make a fluorogram and undergo mammography studies.
Guests of the festival will be able to take part in active exercises. And, of course, competitions and surprises are prepared.

- May 27 — mass run «Health» of the employees of the branch and their families (9.00 stadium of the Youth Sports School).
- May 27 — a friendly mini-football match between the team of the branch and the team of the administration of Yalta (10.00, the stadium of the Youth Sports School).
- June 01 — Festival of children’s drawings «Doctor Saves Life».
- May 27 and June 3 — Healthy Heart campaign in Vasilievka and Sovetskoye settlements.
