Yalta is among the Blue Flag destinations with the best beaches

CrimeaPRESS reports:

July 5th is Bikini Day. It was on this day in 1946 that a new model of beachwear, authored by designer Louis Renard, was demonstrated. The name «Bikini» was chosen in honor of the famous coral island. Many years have passed since then and the bikini no longer looks defiant on the beach. Rather, it is difficult to find a beach that does not have such a swimsuit model. But of course, you want to walk your bathing suits on the best beaches, preferably those marked with the Blue Flag.

The Blue Flag is an honorary award of the international non-governmental and non-profit organization «Environmental Education Foundation», which is awarded every year to beaches with clean water that meets all sanitary standards. Tourists vacationing here can be sure that both rest and service are the best here. In 2023, 21 Blue Flag beaches are located in the Greater Sochi region, two are in Yantarny village of the Kaliningrad region, and one is Massandrovsky beach, which Yalta is famous for.
