Yalta is among the top cities popular for vacations with loved ones

Russian service for booking holiday accommodation TVIL.RU conducted a survey on social networks on the topic: where exactly they wanted to relax with their loved ones. We are publishing the results of the survey.

1. The city of Yalta came in first place, chosen by 21% of voters. Yalta is called the city of happiness and love, let us recall that it was here that the action of A.P. Chekhov’s «The Lady with the Dog» took place.

2. In second place is St. Petersburg, the choice of 17% of subscribers. This city is known to be the setting for many love stories, both literary and real.

3. In third place is Sochi, chosen by 16% of voters. In the city of Sochi, nights and days are wonderful for romantic dates — which the city’s guests are happy to take advantage of.

4. In fourth place is Kaliningrad, which was liked by 12% of voters. Both Kaliningrad itself and the cities of the Kaliningrad region are places for walks along the streets and embankments, for sitting in cafes and long conversations.

5. Vladivostok collected 10% of the votes. In the summer, romantic couples enjoy visiting the Tokarevsky Lighthouse, Nagorny Park, Mountain of Love and other interesting places in the city.

6. 8% of voters voted for Gelendzhik. There are many wonderful places for lovers to stroll here, for example the embankment and especially Lermontovsky Boulevard, where you can take photos against the backdrop of the sculptures «Assol» and «White Bride».

7. Pyatigorsk was chosen by 6% of subscribers. Legends about love in these mountains were told long before M.Yu. Lermontov. And today in the city and its environs lovers can have a great time — go on excursions, including horseback riding. Drink water and wine and enjoy the cleanest air of these places.

8. The city of Kazan – the choice of 5% of all voters. The Hermitage Park, the Syuyumbike Tower, embankments, art spaces, cafes, hotels – in this city any lovers will find places to their taste.

9. Kostroma was chosen by 3% of subscribers. This beautiful city is associated with the film «Cruel Romance» and here is both a gazebo and a restaurant-landing platform, associated with the famous film. But besides the embankment and the city center, Kostroma has many points of attraction for romantic couples.

10. 2% of the survey participants voted for Murom. It is strange that so few, Murom is the place where the legend of Peter and Fevronia, the legend of great love and fidelity, takes place.
