Why is this happening? Apparently, the fact is that the majority of Russian tourists strive for an isolated holiday, despite the increase in its cost. However, in December average prices always rise — this is influenced by the approach of the New Year holidays.
The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most popular destinations for booking apartments in December 2023. Sheregesh was in first place with 6% of bookings, Sochi was in second, and Sortavala in Karelia was in third (5% and 4% of bookings, respectively).
