Yalta is among the top popular destinations for solo holidays in May

What makes a person go on a journey alone? Sometimes I want to plan my own route and not depend on anyone when choosing an excursion or a museum. Sometimes you just want to be alone, discovering new horizons or visiting old, but not forgotten places. If anything, the number of solo trips is constantly growing, according to TVIL, in May 2024 the number of single bookings increased by 10% compared to last year despite the fact that the average cost per night increased by 18%.

The Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most popular destinations for single travel in May 2024. In first place is St. Petersburg with 13% of single bookings, in second place is Moscow, and in third place is Sochi, and in (12% and 11% of bookings, respectively)— reported the press service of the service.
