November is already the deadline for planning a vacation for the New Year and winter holidays. It’s not for nothing that travel industry experts advise booking “hot” winter days at the end of September and beginning of October — now many interesting places are already occupied, and prices for others are starting to rise. And yet you can still make it… but where?
The Russian service TVIL.RU has identified the most popular holiday destinations for the winter holidays from December 25, 2023 to January 8, 2024. St. Petersburg unexpectedly took first place, with 15% of New Year’s bookings; it was only one percent ahead of Sochi with 14%. And in third place is Moscow, which was booked by 12% of holidaymakers for New Year and Christmas.,” noted the service’s press service.
