So the summer is leaving… We hope that many of us managed to fulfill our plans this summer — to relax, swim, go on a journey, learning new things. Soon it remains only to remember the passing warm days and share memories. And what city was for you this year the most beautiful, bright, Absolutely Summer?
In honor of the end of the calendar summer, the Russian service for booking vacation rentals TVIL.RU conducted a poll in social networks: what city was the brightest for them, Absolutely Summer? And in the first place, of course, was Sochi, in the second Yalta, and in the third — Samara.
1. Sochi was chosen by 41% of those who voted. This city is a stable and undeniable leader in the ranking of tourist preferences, in the summer season it consistently receives about a third of all bookings according to TVIL. And no wonder — Greater Sochi is worth it!
2. In second place is Yalta, this is the choice of 36% of subscribers. And Yalta was chosen by kings, grand dukes and great writers, actors. So, no matter what, this city will always be loved.
3. In third place is Samara, which was chosen by 14% of the voting participants. In recent years, the city on the Volga has become surprisingly prettier, there are wonderful beaches, excursions, cafes and museums. A lot has been done to become a popular holiday destination — and tourists appreciate it.
4. Kislovodsk collected 12% of the vote. Here, of course, there is neither a sea nor a large river, but a magnificent park, mountain slopes and clean air attracted tourists here back in the 19th century. And will continue to attract many centuries later.
5. Kazan was supported by 10% of the voting participants. Kazan today is not just a large and modern city with museums, parks, stadiums and theaters, but also a place from where you can go on a variety of trips along the Volga, across Tatarstan.
6. Svetlogorsk was chosen by 8% of subscribers. This Baltic city seems bright, like the amber that made the local coast famous. The opportunity to travel around East Prussia attracts here no less than the opportunity to get a golden tan.
7. Kostroma was chosen by 4% of all voters. Here you can enjoy walks through historical places, museums, parks and, of course, along the Volga.
8. Vladivostok received 3% of the vote. Perhaps the fact is that this city is not easy for everyone to get to. But believe me, those who have been here, then for a long time excitedly talk about what a bright, amazing city it is, unlike others.
9. Vyborg was chosen by 2% of those who voted. The old fortress, Mon Repos park, amazing houses, both old and built in the Finnish modern style, make you come back here again and again.
10. Ostashkov collected 1% of the vote. The city lying on Seliger is good both in winter and in spring and autumn. But in the summer, after all, it is the most beautiful.
