The theme of the action this year is consonant with the year of the defender of the Fatherland and is called “Heroes”, therefore, in addition to the usual routes in the house-museum A.P. Chekhov in Yalta, on this day, will be presented by the author’s excursion on the temporary thematic exhibition “Museum during the Great Patriotic War”, which will be held on the verande-gallery of the Chekhov house at 16:00. Guests will be able to see genuine objects from the Stock Collection of the Museum-Reserve, including: the homemade calendar of Maria Pavlovna, a photograph of the playwright Gauptmann, who played a role in the salvation of the Chekhovsky house, the 1943 Karelian Front military lantern and much more.

Also at 16:00 in the hall of the literary exposition, everyone will be able to watch the broadcast of the 1966 feature film based on the story of the same name by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov “Darling”.

After the end of the second tour at 18:15, the quiz “around Chekhov” will take place for the guests, where the most active participants will be able to get valuable prizes. The evening will complete at 18:30 a concert of creative groups in the memorial garden of the White Dacha. Young musicians will perform famous compositions that sang at the front and sounded in cult military films.
