Yalta police: a new fraud pattern — be careful
Krympress reports:
The Yalta police note:
Recently, scammers began to apply a new way of psychological impact, focusing on citizens participating in trials. An unknown calls the potential victim and seems to be an intermediary who has access to federal and magistrate courts. After that, the swindler proposes to resolve the issue of making a judicial act in favor of the victim for a monetary reward. The day before, a message from a 42-year-old local resident was received in the duty unit of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yalta. The man became a victim of fraudsters and said that after one of the messengers he received a call from a stranger who proposed to decide a judicial dispute in favor of the applicant. The victim listened to the received proposal and transferred 60 thousand rubles to the interlocutor. Having got the money, the swindler stopped in touch, without fulfilling the promised.
Dear citizens! If an unknown person called you and offered to assist in solving complex legal issues, do not take hasty actions. Carefully check the information, or report what happened to the police by number 102.
Remember, you should not share confidential data with unknown persons and transfer funds.
