Yalta resemble the actions of citizens when detecting suspicious and unattended items
Krympress reports:
Dear residents and guests of the city, as well as heads of enterprises, institutions, organizations!
The recommendations below are developed on the basis of the analysis of practical actions to eliminate the consequences of terrorist acts and the materials of the investigation on them, taking into account the characteristics of human behavior in extreme and emergency situations.
The purpose of the recommendations is to help citizens correctly navigate and act in extreme and emergency situations.
If the discovered object should not, as you think, be “in this place and at this time”, do not leave this fact unattended.
If you find:
- A forgotten or ownerless thing in public transport, interview people nearby, try to establish whose or who could leave it. If the owner is not installed, immediately report on the find to the driver;
- A suspicious object in the entrance of your house, interview your neighbors, it may belong to them, but if the owner is not established, immediately inform about the find in your police station;
- If you find a suspicious subject in the institution, immediately inform about the finding of the administration or the protection.
In all these cases:
• Do not touch, do not open and do not move the find;
• fix the finding time of the find;
• try to make people move as far away from a dangerous find as possible;
• be sure to wait for the arrival of the operational investigative group;
• Do not forget that you are the most important eyewitness.
Remember: the appearance of the subject can hide its present purpose. As a camouflage for explosive devices, ordinary household items are used: bags, bags, packages, boxes, toys, etc.
Parents! You are responsible for the life and health of your children. Explain to the children that any item found on the street or in the entrance may be dangerous.
Once again we remind you! Do not take any actions with finds or suspicious objects that may turn out to be explosive devices yourself — this can lead to their explosion, numerous victims and destruction!
