Yalta residents are laureates of the All-Crimean festival “ZOV of the Motherland”

The All-Crimean festival — competition of civic dignity «ZOV of the Motherland» was held in three stages. At the first stage from January 20 to February 20 in all cities and regions of the Republic of Crimea, at the second stage there was a competitive selection, which took place on March 1 in Simferopol at the music school named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. The gala concert and awards ceremony for the winners of the festival-competition took place on March 15 in Simferopol on the stage of the Crimean Tatar State Academic Music and Drama Theater.
Yalta was represented by cultural workers, groups and soloists of the municipal budgetary cultural institution “Yalta Centralized Club System”. In the category “Civil-Patriotic Song” the winner was the vocal ensemble “Russian Holidays” of the Yalta Culture Center (director Irina Mikhailova). In the category “Author’s Song” the winner was the vocal ensemble “Echo of the Red Stone” of the Gurzuf House of Culture” (director Olga Volokhovskaya). In the Conversational Genre category, the winners were Savva Derkach and Victoria Gladun, members of the Theater Book theater studio of the Simeiz Club (director Irina Ivanova). In the “Photo Art” nomination, the first degree laureate was the deputy director of the MBUK “YACKS” Ekaterina Demina, the third degree laureate Ksenia Polyanskaya, the laureates were Dmitry Gavrilyuk and Sergey Silin, members of the people’s photo club “Yalta” of the Yalta cultural center of the MBUK “YACKS” (head Vadim Zyuzin).
The founders of the All-Crimean Festival of Civic Dignity “ZOV of the Motherland” are the Ministry of Culture of Crimea, the administrations of the municipalities of the republic, the organizers are the Folk Art Center of the Republic of Crimea, the cultural authorities of local administrations of the municipalities of the Republic of Crimea.
The festival-competition is held with the aim of strengthening Russian civic identity, instilling patriotism and a sense of pride in one’s country, revealing creative potential based on the civil-patriotic repertoire, identifying and supporting talented photographers and performers.
The jury included highly qualified specialists in the field of culture and arts of the Republic of Crimea, the chairman of the jury is the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, Honored Artist of Crimea Andrey Tereshchenko.
