World Blood Donor Day is a date that brings together people who are ready to help those in need of blood. Donation is a worthy act that saves lives. This holiday is dedicated to blood donors, doctors and nurses working in Blood Centers, Donation Volunteers and everyone who helps develop the donor movement in the country.
At the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Blood Center” in Yalta, from June 13 to 14, on the initiative of the Yalta centralized club system, the “I Save Lives” campaign was held, within the framework of which 59 people donated their blood. The Young Guards of Yalta became the most active.
The City Administration hosted a solemn celebration of Yalta dynasties of donors, organizers of donor events and social partners of the donor movement. The event was opened by the Head of the municipality of the Yalta City District — Chairman of the Yalta City Council Konstantin Shimanovsky and Deputy Head of the Yalta City Administration Zhanna Kislitsa.

Employees of the tourism organization Mriya Resort took an active part in organizing and conducting Donor Actions. Repeatedly, the security service and teams organized the arrival of a team from the naval clinical hospital of the city of Sevastopol to the hotel. During November, December 2023, February, March and May 2024, 900 employees donated blood. 369 liters of blood were obtained.
For their active participation in the donor movement, the Mriya Resort team received gratitude from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “1472 VMKG” of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

A gift for all those present was the performance of the folk studio of pop vocals of the Yalta Cultural Center branch of the YACKS MBUK, the head of the group, Hatice Eyupova.
