The next two cars will be delivered by February 23 to the Zaporozhye direction.
Since the beginning of the SVO, 30 cars have been sent to our defenders from Yalta. This was announced by the head of the administration of the resort town, Yanina Pavlenko.
They are in great demand on the line of combat contact — requests from the military are scheduled several months in advance. Cars are needed both for the delivery of ammunition and special equipment, and for transporting the wounded. Volunteers prepare the vehicles so that they work in difficult conditions, on different terrain, and equip them with everything necessary to protect the children. Now there is a need to install “anti-drone” devices. This increases the cost of car preparation, but, most importantly, saves lives— said Yanina Pavlenko.
As noted by Alexander Kravchenko, assistant to the head of the Yalta administration, head of the Military Brotherhood “Yalta-South” Charitable Foundation, drone “silencers” cost from 100 to 500 thousand rubles.
This is a truly necessary device and we hope for the help of entrepreneurs and philanthropists in purchasing them. As well as assistance in purchasing cars and everything that our defenders need. “Hand to hand” — an application from the military and personal transfer to them of what they asked for — that’s how we work— said Alexander Kravchenko.
The organizer of “Z Garage” Grigory Kurochkin noted that it takes at least a month to equip one car.
First you need to purchase the car itself. We buy not only in Crimea, but also on the mainland. Then we deliver it to the workshop, usually by tow truck, and here, on the spot, we begin to look for and buy components for it. Many thanks to all the residents of Yalta who help with both parts and repairs and equipment of cars— said the master.
And, of course, for the holiday — Defender of the Fatherland Day, humanitarian aid collected by schools and kindergartens will go to the front line. In addition to things and food, the guys prepared letters and drawings that our soldiers carry with them in their uniform pockets, as a symbol of their home, where everyone is waiting for them with Victory!
