Yalta, Sevastopol and Feodosia are among the top popular poetic destinations of spring
CrimeaPRESS reports:
March 21 is celebrated as World Poetry Day, which was approved in 1999 at the 30th session of the UNESCO General Conference. It was decided to attract public attention to poetry because it can become an answer to the most pressing and profound questions, unite countries and cultures, helping people understand each other. Few things contribute to the poetic mood as much as travel, which is perhaps why new cities and countries are so often glorified in poems.
In honor of this date, the Russian hotel and apartment booking service TVIL.RU has identified the most popular poetic trends for spring 2024. That is, popular vacation spots that were sung by the most famous poets. We deliberately did not include Moscow and St. Petersburg in the rating — they are out of competition, since they have received countless poetic dedications. And in this case, Kazan is in first place, Yalta is in second, and Krasnodar is in third. Let’s see how much a vacation in the most popular poetic cities will cost this spring,” noted the service’s press service.
Ten most poetic trends of spring:
