Yaltanets lost more than 130 thousand rubles, intending to purchase equipment on the trading platform

A 45-year-old local resident turned to the attendant part of the police of Yalta, who said that he was looking for an announcement of the machine’s sale on the trading platform, but got to the fraudster.
The victim responded to the seller’s announcement and wrote about his intention to purchase goods, the latter sent photographs, characteristics and accurate cost. They agreed that the «seller» would send goods from another city with a transport company. However, it will be necessary to fully pay for the goods. The man received a video of how the machine for transportation and a photo of the invoice for goods is shipped. To pay, the unknown sent 2 bank card numbers to the man, to which it was necessary to make payment. The victim sent funds in the amount of more than 130,000 rubles for these details. After a while, Yalta visited the transport company to clarify where his goods are and received information that the application is in the database, but it did not go. Next, the applicant wrote to the false salesman, but he stopped in touch. After a while, the victim realized that he had become a victim of a fraudster,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.
The Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Yalta opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud).

The police calls for citizens to be vigilant and careful! Full payment before receiving goods is a frequent practice in ordinary life, however, scammers are successfully applied to this method. The main task of scammers operating on such platforms is to achieve a full payment for non -existent goods.
