Yana Yakuba is actively involved in social activities. Yana has been participating in Tavrida projects for several years already: in 2020 and 2021 she became the winner of a grant competition, in 2023 she took part in the Create Crimea accelerator of creative projects, where her project was among the finalists. With the same project, Yana entered the defense in the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition, and after a successful defense, she was recommended for the award of grant support of 600,000 rubles.

The project in question is the immersive performance Time to Fly with elements of aerial acrobatics. It will bring together young people at risk, orphans and schoolchildren living in the territory of Sudak and Feodosia, and create conditions for the development of their creative potential through joint aerial acrobatics.

I really wanted to implement a project that would unite different categories of youth and adolescents, motivate them and help them socialize. The solution was aerial gymnastics — a synthesis of sports and creativity, which also requires a lot of teamwork and effort on oneself. As part of the project, we will conduct motivational trainings to popularize sports, at which project participants will learn about the fate of outstanding athletes who had to overcome difficulties on their way to success. Throughout the year, sports training, outdoor activities and rehearsals of the reporting concert will take place. The result of the work — the immersive performance «Time to Fly» — will be available to everyone. I will say even more, since at the expense of grant funds we purchase the equipment necessary for performances, project participants will be able to participate in city events on an ongoing basis, demonstrating their achievements— said Yana.

The Rosmolodezh.Grants competition is held at the site of the Tavrida art cluster by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and is part of the Russia – Land of Opportunities platform. Since 2015, more than 1,100 people have already become winners of the competition, more than 530 million rubles have been allocated for the implementation of their projects.
