Yanina Pavlenko is again the head of the Yalta administration

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The city council approved Yanina Pavlenko as head of the administration of the Yalta urban district, who had already led the city for the previous four years. The decision was made on Friday by deputies at a session of the City Council.

Yanina Pavlenko was re-elected to the position of head of the Yalta city administration. This decision was unanimously adopted by deputies during a session of the Yalta City Councilsays in Telegram channel city administration.

Pavlenko left the post of head of the resort city upon expiration of her term of office on September 19. The competition for the position of head of the city administration was announced on September 30. Also applying for the position were the head of a local commercial company, Nadezhda Obukhova, the head of the Yalta housing and communal services department, Alexander Karnaukhov, and self-employed Zurie Mendalieva.

Pavlenko, speaking with a plan for the upcoming work, said that she plans to continue projects in the city in the field of improvement and road development, expansion of green areas, renovation and construction of educational institutions are planned.

The main principle for me: the residents will be happy <...> — they will make the rest of our tourists wonderful, because first of all, Yalta is a resort cityshe added.

Pavlenko noted that acute problems remain in the city — Yalta has the longest distance in Crimea for waste removal, about 200 km, and it needs its own waste processing facilities. It is necessary to develop water supply networks — out of 32 settlements in Yalta, 10 do not have centralized sewerage systems. One of the problems is an insufficient storm sewer network. The objectives also include increasing tax revenues.
