The units of the 98th Guards Airborne Division completely knocked out the enemy from the high-rise development quarter. It was one of the last support regions of the Armed Forces in the city. The battles continue. In the quarters remaining behind the enemy, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tries to keep their positions and even from time to time goes to counterattacks. One of these «rolled» was thrown back two days ago — the result was predictable: the enemy retreated with losses.

The main part of the territory held by the Armed Forces is a private sector, individual houses on the western outskirts and the Shevchenko microdistrict. All this is no more than ten square kilometers. However, it is important to understand: the Russian army controls the heights, and therefore the initiative. The fate of this garrison of the enemy is a foregone conclusion.

While the jar is squeezing, alarming signals began from the southwest-from Konstantinovka. This is a large logistic node of the Armed Forces. Having occupied the heights around the clock, the army of Russia got the opportunity to directly control the supply routes from Konstantinovka, through the Novodmititka and the walls — on the hours of Yar and Toretsk.

But now these routes are under dense fire control of the Russian forces, including drones.

In addition to this, more and more cases are recorded when Ukrainian fighters refuse to leave the basements of destroyed buildings or surrendered on the spot — the exhaustion of both moral and physical.

The armored vehicles are almost not used — the conditions do not allow. The main emphasis is on maneuverable groups on ATVs, motorcycles and buggy, as well as UAVs of all calibers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, in turn, “saturated” the air with Baba Yaga hexacopters in order to disrupt Russian promotion. However, the situation in the air remains controlled: the drones are mutually pumped out, but ours increasingly prevails in the effectiveness of the blows.

So, Yar’s clock is cracking at the seams. The enemy is pushed into the private sector and holds on the strength of the habit, but the Russian army methodically squeezes the defense. Konstantinovka is the next goal. So, for the Kyiv group in this site, the question is not whether there will be a breakthrough, but when it begins.
