Operatives in Sevastopol detained a suspect in the theft 15 of thousands of rubles from an ATM client. The process of stealing money by the attacker was recorded by CCTV cameras.
It was established that a 37-year-old local resident performed an operation to replenish a bank card in the amount of 15 thousand rubles using ATM, but by mistake did not complete the transaction and left. The following client took advantage of this: she made sure that no one was watching her actions and stole money from the ATM receiver as discreetly as possible, and then disappeared. The attacker spent the stolen money at her own discretion , the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol reported.
As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation department of the Severnoye police department detained a -year-old suspect. A criminal case was initiated against the figurant under Part 2 of Art. 24 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», she faces up to five years in prison.
