Multimodal transportation has been launched from Sochi Airport to the peninsula and back. This initiative of representatives of the authorities of Sevastopol and Crimea was supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and Rostourism. So, in the period from July 4 to October 1, passengers can buy a plane ticket to Sochi airport and a bus ticket from / to Sevastopol, Simferopol, Feodosia, Kerch with one transaction. Buses carrying passengers are designed for 43 seats and include a luggage compartment.
We have repeatedly applied with the initiative to launch a «single» ticket from Sochi to Sevastopol. Thanks to the joint work with colleagues, it was possible to realize the plan. In addition, within the framework of multimodal transportation, we plan to soon connect a connection in Sochi with railway transport , — quotes the press service of the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to the Department of Transport and Road Facilities of the Sochi city administration, already in July the first guests arrived on the peninsula on a «single» ticket.
