You need to know: a service for deceived equity holders will appear on the State Services portal

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Deceived equity holders will be able to apply for payments through the State Services portal in June. At the end of the month, a government decree on this comes into force.

Deceived equity holders, depending on the decision made by the Supervisory Board of the Territorial Development Fund, with the help of state support, can receive either housing (if it was decided to complete the house) or cash payments.

Now, as they said «Rossiyskaya Gazeta» in the Territorial Development Fund (TDF), equity holders can apply for a payment by sending an application by mail or through the «personal account» on the fund’s website. In June, they will be able to do this through the public services portal. Moreover, the service, as noted in the FRT, will begin to operate ahead of schedule — already in early summer. The term for consideration of applications received through the public services portal is up to 10 days.

To apply, you will need to go to the public services portal, select a service, familiarize yourself with the list of required documents and submit an application. The new service will speed up the processing of payments to people who have not received their apartments due to bankrupt developers, the FRT emphasizes.

It will be possible to issue and track the application, including in the mobile application «Gosuslugi». Thanks to push notifications, information about the progress of the application will be sent to the applicant more quickly.

In 2019-2023, through the joint efforts of the Fund and the regions, assistance was provided to more than 170,000 equity holders. The rights of about 80 thousand citizens who suffered from unscrupulous developers have not yet been restored.

Any automation that makes people’s lives easier and simpler needs to be supported, says Sergei Kolunov, a member of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities.

Registration of compensations to deceived equity holders through public services should reduce the payment terms. Here it is important to fully automate the process — from filing an application to the very return of funds, so that citizens do not have to write unnecessary applications and visit the MFC, and the funds are automatically credited to their accountKolunov says.
