Young Crimean wrestlers won seven medals at the championship of the Southern Federal District in Adygea

The Crimean national team won seven medals at the championship of the Southern Federal District in Greco-Roman wrestling among youths under 16 years old. Competitions on April 28-30 were held in the village of Takhtamukay (Adygea).
Our compatriots have 2 gold, one silver and 4 bronze awards. Edem Paiziev from Simferopol (up to 35 kg, coach — Sergey Popenkov) and Mikhail Gorenko from Maryanovka, Krasnogvardeisky district (up to 62 kg, coaches — Albert Plishakov and Enver Useinov) became the winners of the championship in their weight categories. Simferopol resident Ismail Balbek (coaches — Sergey Popenkov and Evgeny Plutitsky) — the owner of «silver» in the weight up to 35 kg (in the final he lost to his eternal friend-rival Edem Payziev)says «Crimean sport».
Emir Abdulganiev from Lesnovka, Saksky district (up to 41 kg, coach — Sergey Tsapaev), Alexander Babenko from Voskhod Krasnogvardeisky district (up to 44 kg, coach — Kirill Gorbenko), as well as Simferopol residents Emir Islyamov (up to 44 kg, coaches — Sergey Popenkov and Evgeny Plutitsky) and Ridvan Kamalov (up to 85 kg, coach — Noredin Saidaliev).
A step away from the podium (they took fourth place), Simferopol athletes Marlen Kovali (up to 38 kg), Fedor Vovk (up to 57 kg) and Svyatoslav Silkin (up to 100 kg), as well as Emil Bayzakov from Maryanovka, Krasnogvardeisky district (up to 41 kg) stopped.
In total, 317 athletes from seven subjects of the Southern Federal District (Crimea, Adygea, Kalmykia, Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov Regions) took part in the championship.
All the winners and prize-winners of the competitions received vouchers for a similar championship of Russia, which will be held in the capital of Bashkortostan — Ufa.
