The Crimean national team won seven medals at the championship of the Southern Federal District in Greco-Roman wrestling among youths under 16 years old. Competitions on April 28-30 were held in the village of Takhtamukay (Adygea).

Edem Paiziev from Simferopol (up to 35 kg, coach — Sergey Popenkov) and Mikhail Gorenko from Maryanovka, Krasnogvardeisky district (up to 62 kg, coaches — Albert Plishakov and Enver Useinov) became the winners of the championship in their weight categories.
