Young people who set fire to three cars were convicted in Simferopol

The court found that the young people agreed to jointly steal a car. They entered a VAZ 2107 car parked on the street. Radishchev, breaking the glass, driving about three meters on it. In order to hide traces of the crime, the attackers set fire to the car, causing damage to the owner in the amount of more than 100 thousand rubles. Subsequently, young people, out of hooligan motives, set fire to Opel Astra and VAZ 21124 cars parked on the same street— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The defendants pleaded guilty. The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the defendants to 3 and 4 years in prison, respectively, to be served in a high-security correctional colony.
