In honor of the Day of National Unity, from November 3 to 9, in Evpatoria, on the basis of the Crimean Football Academy, the New Generation Cup Football Tournament will be held among boys no older than 17 years. Teams from the Donetsk People’s Republic, Luhansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol will take part in the tournament. There are 6 teams in total. The event will be held within the framework of the regional project «Sport is the norm of life» of the national project «Demography».
The group stage, play-offs and the tournament final will take place from 3 to 9 November.
The opening of the tournament will take place on November 4. The ceremony will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, the administration of Yevpatoria, the Civic Chamber of the Republic of Crimea, the Football Academy of Crimea, the Republican Football Federation of Crimea.
The tournament will be opened by a match between the teams of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the city of Sevastopol.
You can come to cheer for the teams for free, the entrance to the arena is free. The matches will be broadcast on television channels: Channel One, Match TV, Russia-1.
The organizers of the tournament are the Ministry of Sports of Russia, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, the Republican Football Federation of Crimea, ANO «Football Academy of Crimea». Responsible for the Tournament is the Honorary President of ANO «Academy of Football of the Crimea» Vetokha Yuri Alexandrovich.
