Youth of the Crimea under shelling helped the residents of the DPR

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Consolidated volunteer group of the Youth of the Popular Front from 11 regions of Russia. including Crimea and Sevastopol, helped the residents of the DPR and the fighters of this direction of the SVO.

The guys organized the distribution of aid right under the arrivals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Volunteers helped residents of Donetsk, Artyomovsky district, Yenakiyevo, eliminated the consequences of artillery shelling of residential areas of Makeevka, delivered clothes and food packages to families with disabled children, formed humanitarian kits for the region’s social institutions, daily shipped and received goods for both the military and the civilian population coming from all over the country to Donetsk— noted in the press service of the Popular Front in the Crimea.

In Makiivka, on the last day of the humanitarian mission, volunteers helped to restore the infrastructure after another «arrival» at civilian facilities and themselves found themselves next to the «control» Ukrainian arrival:

There was an explosion next to us, everyone lay down on the floor, quickly evacuated and immediately continued to help. Together with us, local residents fled from shelling, everyone helped each other, at such moments, real national unity is especially felt— said Alexander Kardanov, a member of the Crimean youth team of the Popular Front.

The locals support each other as best they can. They look after the apartments of lonely neighbors who are in the hospital, close windows and doors with improvised materials so that marauders do not enter. And a big thank you to the volunteers from all over the country.
