According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, the unemployment rate in the republic, which significantly exceeded the Russian average, decreased by 2.3 times from 7.2% to a record 3.3%. This was facilitated by the development of small businesses. Today, a record number of small and medium-sized businesses are registered in the republic — more than 209 thousand. In 2014 – 89 thousand SMEs.
Achieving a high level of development of the region is largely ensured through the implementation of the State Program for the Development of Crimea. To date, the main problems with the main infrastructure have been resolved, large social facilities have been introduced. In total, 550 billion rubles have been allocated under the State Program taking into account this year. 757 events are being implemented, 490 facilities have already been put into operation. The program is designed until 2027; a proposal has already been made to extend it until 2030, for which it is planned to allocate more than 200 billion rubles. During the period from 2014 to 2023, almost 4 thousand 500 objects were built, reconstructed and overhauled, which significantly improved the living standards of Crimean residents. Unique conditions have been created for implementing investment projects and attracting investments. In less than 10 years, 1 trillion 617 billion rubles of investment have been invested in the economy of the republic, including private investments, more than half of the total amount — almost 950 billion rubles, — said Yuri Gotsanyuk.
