42 patients with confirmed COVID-19: situation in Sevastopol hospitals

Over the past 24 hours, 8 people have been hospitalized in covid hospitals in Sevastopol. 2 patients have been discharged. At the moment, there are 19 patients in hospitals, of which 42 — with confirmed COVID-19.

In total, 110 beds have been deployed in the city infectious diseases hospital, the first, fifth and ninth city hospitals for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection and suspected of it. As of the morning of December 8, the city registered new cases of COVID-19. Died 2 people aged 42 and 42 years. According to Rospotrebnadzor, during the pandemic in Sevastopol, people fell ill with a new coronavirus infection 051 747, recovered 110 020, — reported the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

Now there is a campaign for vaccination against COVID-19 in the city. Vaccination points have been deployed in polyclinics, feldsher-obstetric stations and rural medical outpatient clinics.

Mobile points operate inside the shopping centers «Musson» and «SeaMall».

There were no cases of complications after vaccination in the region.

In Sevastopol, on the morning of December 8, people were vaccinated against coronavirus 364 636. The second stage of vaccination was completed by 326 051 residents of the city.

Mass vaccination began in Sevastopol on February 8 2021. As of December 8, more than 373 thousand doses of vaccine have been received. Deliveries are proceeding as planned.
