425 people have already applied to the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation in Sevastopol

The Sevastopol branch of the State Fund «Defenders of the Fatherland» continues to actively work to provide assistance and support to the participants and veterans of the special military operation, their families, as well as the families of the fallen servicemen. During the work, 425 people applied to the regional branch of the fund and the Committee of the families of the soldiers of the Fatherland. Most often, the branch of the fund is asked for assistance in obtaining a certificate of a war veteran and a certificate of a family member of a deceased (deceased) war veteran. The second most popular question is assistance in obtaining social support measures.

You can contact the branch of the fund in person and by phone. Let me remind you that there is a hotline, through which the social coordinator on duty receives calls around the clock. When personally contacting the branch, a veteran or family members of the dead fighters receive advice in the initial reception window and support from social coordinators. Coordinators have every opportunity to interact with public authorities, and this helps them provide quality assistance to all who apply— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy governor of the city Alexander Kulagin.

The Committee of Fatherland Soldiers’ Families operates in the foundation’s building, providing assistance to active servicemen and their families. The committee’s specialists helped to resolve the issue of the serviceman’s sanatorium treatment in the shortest possible time. The fighter had health problems, and his mother repeatedly asked for help. The committee members could not stand aside, and literally 10 days later the man went to a sanatorium.

We try our best to deal with each individual request. There are questions and situations when we clearly know where to call and how to resolve the issue. Some appeals take longer, but nevertheless we take part in the fate of each of our wards— notes the head of the Committee of families of soldiers of the Fatherland Victoria Tupchanenko.
